Supervised by Blitzen, enjoy a course with a maximum elevation difference of 1,200 meters!
On a course with gentle ups and downs, experience a challenging yet comfortable ride. Demonstrate your daily training by completing a mountain course!

Nikko's Fun Gourmet Ride
Hand-made soba is served at aid stations: Inaka Soba Kobyaku and Soba Dokoro Hinata!
All courses have aid stations with hand-made soba stalls. This year's 8th annual event will be filled with memorable experiences. Enjoy a fun and tasty ride on the TOUR DE NIKKO.

There are a plenty of highlights and excitement in Nikko!
You can enjoy the entire day in Nikko with a World Heritage site and rich nature. Of course, you can refresh yourself in the natural hot spring after the sports activities!
Rich in nature and natural hot springs, Nikko is the best place to soothe your body and soul. Relax in the spring bath while surrounded by nature.

1. This event is not a racing competition.
General traffic laws must be obeyed on course! 2. "Pedestrians come first" Anytime and anywhere!
3. Share the road with vehicles!
4. Practice training with others during the ride!
5. Do not force yourself. Rest at the aid stations, keep your own pace and have a fun!

* We may refuse participation if you are expected to cause any hindrance to the event.

[Course] START → Aid 1: Katakuri-no-yu (approx. 22km) → Aid 2: Kinugawa Koen Yagai Stage (approx. 38km) → Aid 3: Soba Dokoro Hinata (approx. 65km) → Aid 4: Ozasa Bokujo (approx. 76km) → FINISH
[Details] This challenging mountain course is recommended for fit individuals only. With magnificent views of beautiful plateaus, the nature and history of the Suginami Kaido Road, and the townscape of a natural hot spring village, you will experience one of Japan's most impressive cycling courses..

- Fun Ride Mountain Nikko 96km (Yellow Course) * Intermediate and Advanced
[Fee] Adult: 7,000 yen / Junior High & High School: 5,000 yen
[Course] START → Aid 1: Katakuri-no-yu (approx. 22km) → Aid 2: Kinugawa Koen Yagai Stage (approx. 38km) → Aid 5: Kobyaku Inaka Soba (approx. 81km) → FINISH
[Details] This mostly flat Fun Ride Course with an added mountain course from Ryuokyo to Ikari Lake is recommended for intermediate to advanced individuals. You can enjoy the history of Nikko and spectacular nature.

- Fun Ride Nikko 70km (Blue Course) * Intermediate and Beginner
[Fee] Adult: 7,000 yen / Junior High & High School: 5,000 yen
[Course] START → Aid 1: Katakuri-no-yu (approx. 22km) →Aid 2: Kinugawa Koen Yagai Stage (approx. 38km) → Aid 5: Kobyaku Inaka Soba (approx. 55km) → FINISH
[Details] This mostly flat course is suitable as a first long ride. Riding in the breath-taking nature of the historical, cedar-lined highway, beginners to veterans will be challenged on this straight yet exhilarating course along the Otani River.

- Nikko Cycling 47km (Green Course) * Beginner
[Fee] Adult: 4,000 yen ; Elementary / Junior High / High School: 5,000 yen
[Course] START → Aid 1: Katakuri-no-yu (approx. 22km) → Aid 5: Kobyaku Inaka Soba (approx. 32km) → FINISH
[Details] This course is for people wishing to experience the joy of riding while observing the scenery of Nikko. Whether a child or adult, everyone will be able to enjoy the incredible nature of Nikko.

* Utsunomiya Blitzen will supervise the entire course this year, too. In order to make the ride enjoyable and safe, the number of right turns in the course have been reduced. All right turns have been designed to take in two steps.

- It is not a competition race (no awards will be given)
- It is a cycling event, so obey the road traffic laws and have good manners on the course.
- This event will take place rain or shine. In case of extreme weather, instructions will be given on the event website.
