- The Lake Haruna area is one of many popular tourist destination within Takasaki city, Gunma Prefecture.
- Surrounded by rich nature, the Resort highland is a highlight in summer.
- By holding a triathlon event in this area, we aim to promote vibrant community development under the auspices of Takasaki City and Mount Haruna with the goal of fostering a sense of unity within the community through volunteer participation and cooperation among local people, as well as promoting the region to the rest of the country.

Relay teams who place overall 1st-3rd will be excluded from rankings and prizes in the Female team and the Mixed team awards category. The participant registration confirmation slip will be sent out in mid July. Please sign and seal the participation pledge and waiver and bring it with you on race day. You can not participate if you do not attend the race briefing. However, the race briefing is optional only for those who competed and finished the 5th annual (2017) race in either the beginner, standard or relay categories. For further information in relation to this, please contact the Race Organising Committee at the details below. |
| Points to note when registering | Please enter on the condition that you agree and accept the participant terms and conditions at the time of registering. For JTU members, we will establish a priority service for the first 200 people, but if capacity is reached, please enter via the general process. It is not possible to change the event category or cancel your registration after you have entered due to a change in your circumstances. Furthermore, there will be not refund of any excess payment made. |

| Train and bus | Bus Alight at JR Takasaki Station west exit. From bus stop 2 take a bus to Lake Haruna (Harunako) approx. 90min (one-way fare is 1,310 JPY) IC travel cards can't be used on the bus The bus cannot change high currency notes (please make sure to carry smaller notes) During the event (held on 29 July), the bus timetable may change as a result of traffic rerouting. Please be sure to check the operation timetable in advance when making your way to the event on race day. |

Please use either the municipal parking lot of the south city of the Lake Haruna lodge or the Memorial Park carpark on the accommodation side of the lake. Please note that parking spaces are limited, so for those who wish to park for an extended period of time whilst going on a training run, are asked to please use the carparks/multipurpose grounds near the make event registration area.
