- 60km from the heart of the city to Hakone, one of Japan's most famous hot spring resorts
- The second half of the run is through the dark and will call for inner strength
- This is a 60km overnight ultra marathon from the port city of Yokohama, adjacent to Tokyo, to the hot spring town of Hakone.

Race start time is 6pm when the sun has set. From the starting point of Yokohama Port, follow National Highway Route 1, which links east and west Japan and head towards to the beach area of Fujisawa.The second half of the course will take you along the coastlline towards the finish point of Hakone Yumoto. The course is mostly flat with the exception of a few climbs towards the goal.

Headllamps will be essential whilst running through the night particularly in areas where there are few streetlights. Guidance will be limited on the course, so you'll also need to refer to a map whilst running the course.

The finish goal will be the vicinity of Hakone Yumooto, one of the leading hot spring resort areas in Japan. Despite the early morning arrival time, it will be possible to enjoy a nearby local hot spring before returning home.

Race rules and regulations1.Please understand that the race organization committee does not accept any responsibilities for any of the below (except for emergency measures) including injury or any other accident.
2.Please consult a doctor before entering the race to receive medical clearance. The Race is entered at your own risk and you are responsible for your health and safety.
3.You are responsible for valuables and personal belongings.Please understand that the race organization committee does not accept any responsibility for lost items or belongings.
4. Throughout the race, please follow the instructions of race attendants, traffic patrol, and police. Please mind your manners and be considerate of others.
5. In entering and registering, participants hereby have read and consent to these terms, conditions and race rules and regulations. In the case of minors (under the age of 18) consent from a parent or guardian is required.
6. Entry fee will not be cancelled or changed after payment has been made.
7.The race organiser will not accept false declarations of age or gender. Places are not transferable (participant will be disqualified otherwise) to another participant. Registration will be cancelled and insurance will not appply if false information has been provided.
8.Please note that there will be no refunds in the event of earthquake, snow, flooding, heavy rain or other natural distasters. In relation to ppints 6 and 7 above, no portion of the entry fee willl be returned in the event of overpayment, or overlapping deposit.
9.The Race Organiser reserves the right and ownership of race and event film, pictures, photos, articles, records, race participant details (including name, age, sex, record, portrait right, city prefecture or nation name) etc for the purposes of publishing and advertising on TV, newspapers, magazines, internet, brochures etc.
