World Marathon, Inc. is proud to present, on September 1, 2013, the first annual Da Nang International Marathon in the exotic Da Nang, Viet Nam. The runners and visitors will be embraced by this third largest city in Viet Nam. They will enjoy this coastal city with beautiful beaches boasting some of the best resorts in Southeast Asia. This city is also surrounded with several UNESCO world heritage sites including the Imperial City Hue and Hoi An Ancient Town.

| Events/Age Requirements/Fees | The Da Nang International Marathon will include a marathon (26.2 miles / 42.195 Km), a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.0975 Km), and a 5K fun run for all to enjoy. The course has been IAAF-AIMS certified to international standard with official timing record. Anyone can participate in the race. The minimum age entry is 18 years old for the Marathon and 16 years old for the half Marathon on race day. There is no age limit for the 5km Fun Run/Walk. Fees: Marathon $100 USD Half Marathon $80 USD 5 Km Fun Run & Walk $30 USD |

| Schedule | DA NANG INTERNATIONAL MARATHON SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Aug 30, 2013 Welcome to Da Nang, Viet Nam Aug 31, 2013 10AM – 6PM The day before, Race package pick up at Da Nang International Marathon Expo 6 PM Carbo-load dinner Sep 1, 2013 Race day. 4 – 6 AM bag drop 5 AM Marathon starts 5 AM Half Marathon starts 7 AM 5K Fun Run starts 9 AM Beach party begin at finish line 1 PM Official cut off time for Marathon 6 PM Gala Dinner & Show + Award presentation Sep 2, 2013 Post –event tours begin for tour purchasers |
| Water/Aid | Marathon: There will be a water station at every mile with total of 13 stations. There will be a mist station at every other mile. Also, 4 ambulances and 6 medic stations will be on duty along the course. |
| Prizes and Awards | • All finishers of the Marathon and 1/2 Marathon Challenge will receive a finishers medal and official marathon T-shirt. • A prize will be given to the top 3 finishers for the Marathon. • A prize will be given to the top 3 finishers for the Half Marathon. • No prizes will be awarded for the 5km Fun Run/Walk. • The Prize Presentation ceremony will be held at Gala Dinner. |

| Baggage | Baggage facilities will be provided for participants. If you do plan to use this service, please bring an inexpensive bag and leave your valuables at home. We will not be responsible for lost or missing items. |
