Eligibility | Men and women aged 16 (high-schoolers) and older who are the members of a UCI affiliated domestic federation or hold day licenses. Participants will be classified according to how old he/she turns or turned within the year. ※For the UGFWS, participants are to run designated courses according to their classes. Any women or men aged 18 or under can not participate in the UGFWS. ※HCF registrants are to run designated courses according to their classes. ※If any of below applies to you, you are not eligible to entry. 1.Any rider who has during the current year been a member of a team registered with the UCI. 2.Any rider who has taken part in a World championships, the Olympic Games,Continental Championships or Games,Regional Games, the Commonwealth Games, or a World Cup during thecurrent year. 3.Any rider who has UCI points in any discipline at the moment of the qualifier event. |

Race Rules / Other Notes | ●Race Rules 1 This race will be held under the regulations of the Union Cycliste internationale(UCI) 2 Riders must wear approved helmets that meet safety standards of his/her country. 3 All the equipment (especially wheels) to be used in the race must be in accordance with the UCI and JFC regulations. Use of disc wheels and extension bars are forbidden and bikes weighed less than 6.8kg will be disqualified. 4 Bikes to be used in the race should be “road bike, cross bike or mountain bike” and time trial bikes are forbidden. 5 Men or women under the age of 18 as of 1st January 2016 or senior high school riders must have a gear ratio of 7.93 or less. 6 For the road race, riders who fall behind the certain time will be disqualified. 7 A transponder will be used to time the race. ●Other Notes 1 Please bring your Entry Confirmation and Health Insurance Card (copy acceptable) with you to the registration. 2 Please present your national license card at the license-control. 3 It is mandatory for all participants to attend the riders meeting. 4 During the event, competition notes or other information will be noticed by communiques posted at the event website or communiques board installed in the village. 5 Body numbers, number plates and timing chips for the race will be handed on presentation of your entry confirmation at registration. Please note that, if you are behind the schedule of the license-control or bike inspection as specified in your entry confirmation, you cannot participate the race. Please attach the timing chip to your bike before you start. Otherwise, you are not allowed to start. 6 If fake rides or any form of fraud are observed, he/she will no longer be allowed to participate in the Niseko Classic to be held in the future. 7 Medical team will give first-aid treatment for injuries caused by accidents during the event. After-treatment will not be provided by them. 8 The competition will be carried out on public roads. Therefore riders are obliged to follow the organizer\'s instruction. Those who offend against it will be disqualified or expelled from the race. 9 Competitors who have abandoned the race should immediately report to officials, committee members and security. 10 All drivers must sign-up within the designate time at the designated place. For singing-up outside the designated time, a penalty will be imposed. After the start, no one can sign-up. 11 Please attach the timing chip to your bike during the race and immediately return it to Timing Chip Return set in the village after you finish. Damaging your chip or failure to return will incur a 10,000JPY penalty as the replacement cost. 12 The organizer will obtain rights to use participants\' pictures, names, addresses, age or race careers in general advertising tools, press release and information media related to the event. Additionally, please note that they will be also used in publications, video or information media created by the organizer. 13 We would like to inform all participants and supporters that in principle, it is prohibited to fly a drone over the track or attach a GO-PRO or other equipment to the handle bar for filming the race because it would possibly degrade riders’ safety if there is a drop or fall. [Other Event Special Rules] ・If the number of participants reaches the maximum number regulated by the JCF, riders will be divided into separate groups at the start. ・The feed zone for140km class will be set up at 72km point in Yoshikuni Natural Park. ・(Due to extreme weather, additional feed zone will be provided. Such announcement will be made at the opening ceremony and event website etc..) ・Checkpoints will be set. ・Race points are A150 points. Points will be awarded to the HCF registrants (Elite S2-S5, M, L, J, JL). Those who participate from outside Hokkaido and public participants will not receive points. |

Special notes for HCF Classification | ◆For riders who join a race for the first time ・If you are a male and this is the first race as a member of bicycle federation, your classification is S-4(after graduating high school - aged 40), S-5(41-54), M(55&over). As of 1st January of your registration year. About the HCF points HCF registrants: For Elite, S-2, S-3 classes, 140km open race participants will receive points. HCF registrants: For S-4, S-5 , M ,J classes 70km open race participants will receive points. HCF registrants: For L and J-L classes, 70km ladies race participants will receive points. All the HCF registered will receive points by their ranking, which were obtained in the races qualified for points. |
