Description & Requirements |
Warrior Dash is a 5 km obstacle course run (about the distance around the Imperial Palace) with 15 obstacles. Anyone 15 years of age or older is eligible (15 to 19 years of age requires a legal guardian’s signature). All ages are welcome. A typical run consists of all ages, with numerous 80 year-olds running in 2012 in North America. The makeup is typical 50% of each gender. |

Time Limits & Typical Run |
Typical Run There is no time limit on the course. It’s a My Pace event.
A fast-paced runner can finish in around 30 minutes.
A typical runner will finish in 45-60 minutes.
A walker or slower runner will typically take 60-75 minutes |
Stage |
There will be live music with a DJ and award events on stage throuout the day. |
Awards |
Several Awards will be presented at the end of each race-day:
- Best Warrior Award
- Best Costume Award
- Best Team Award
Other awards are under consideration. |
Metering |
Each runner will be provided a timing device and start/finish times will be recorded for later retrieval. Teams can use the metering devices to compete with each other and individuals might use it to time themselves, or track their competitive position. |
Participation Prizes |
Each course participant will be provided one Warrior Hat, one Medal (upon course completion), a free Beer or non-Alcoholic Beverage, and one original T-Shirt . In addition, one water bottle will be available at the finish
line. |
Drawing |
There will be a drawing for prizes as well |
Parking |
A limited number of parking is available by registration and reservation for 1,000 Yen per vehicle. |

Festival |
There wil be a stage with live music as well as a DJ and Emcee. The festival area will have a food corner with delicious food, beer and drink for purchase. |

Rules & Guidelines |
The following simple rules and guidelines are intended to help create a fun and safe event for all attendees at Warrior Dash events.
Required
Attendees agree to exhibit good manners at all times; demonstrate respect for all people, equipment and facilities; and participate with a cooperative and positive attitude.
Bring your Kokumin Kenko Hoken (health insurance) card
Attendees must follow all instructions from event staff, security and/or medical personnel. Anyone who disregards any rules, directions, instructions, decisions or laws, or whose behavior endangers safety or negatively affects a person, facility or property of any type may be asked to leave the Event site.
Runners must be 15 years-old or older on the event day in order to participate in the adventure run. As part of our corporate policy, and to meet the requirements of our insurance company, we ask runners under 20 years of age to obtain parental consent to run the course.
Agree to
Adventure runners acknowledge Warrior Dash is a physically challenging event and accept all risks associated with taking part.
Warrior Dash is a My Pace course designed for anyone who is physically active on a regular basis. However we encourage runners to ensure that they are physically able to run or walk 5 km, the same distance as around the Imperial Palace. See Training Tips and Obstacles
Runners agree to wear an official Warrior Dash wristband so that we can track participation, provide you with timing and make it easy for you to identify yourself in action photographs taken by us along the course.
Several videographers and photographers are stationed along the course. Participants agree to allow the event producer (Sports Buzz Asia K.K.) use any pictures or video footage of the event for future promotional purposes.
Prohibited
To ensure the safety of attendees we cannot allow in-line skates, bicycles, skateboards or any other type of wheeled devices that pose the risk of injury to participants, spectators and others.
Walking canes, sticks, poles, ski poles and similar are not allowed on the course.
For health and safety reasons we cannot allow pets at the Warrior Dash event. |
