【Things to consider before applying. 】
Elementary school students (4th-6th grade) require a guardian.

PR This cycling event covers four areas north of Asahikawa: One city and three towns.
This course takes off at the picture book town of Kembuchi; the sheep town of Shibetsu; the number one soba production town of Horokanai; and Wassamu, a town famous for pumpkins.
The course continues along the farm belt with big blue skies.
You may enjoy local products at the aid stations.
The start and finish line will take place at the shooting location of the film “JinJin.”

About the Course The location is about an hour drive from Asahikawa. It is near Wassamu; Kembuchi’s Michi no Eki; Shibetsu, which is famous for sheep; and Horokanai, which is number one in soba production in Japan.

The course will begin at Kembuchi, passing Shibetsu, Horokanai, and Wassamu, and finally returning back to Kembuchi. The entire course is 100 kilometers long, including a middle-level course and a beginner course that is only 38 kilometers. The beginner course will only go through the town of Kembuchi.

Take in the fresh air and blue skies while experiencing an amazing cycling experience.

There are a total of five aid stations, supplied by local products for you to enjoy.
Rules and Regulations ・This event is not a competition to compete for time and order. Each course is designed to consider the physical condition and pace of each individual. The goal is to arrive safely at the finish line.
・Each category will start at the same time. However to ensure that the cyclists do not interfere with traffic, the participants will be divided into groups.
・Additionally, please remain in a single-file line on public roads. Going off course is prohibited.
・Helmets must be worn at all times. In the case that you forget yours, you will not be able to participate. In addition, earphones or anything that covers your ears are prohibited.
・Each course has a time limit. If you take an especially long time to reach the finish line, you may be collected by the instructions of the sponsor.
・See that your bicycles have been services prior to the event. Be sure to bring tools to fix flats and repairs on your own. In the case that you are unable to repair them on your own, please contact and notify the event headquarters.
・You will be cycling on public roads. Because we will be using public streets, please obey the traffic rules and consider other drivers and pedestrians.
・Please understand that in the case of poor weather or a large accident, the event may be cancelled or the course may be moved to another location. In that case, please obey the instructions of the sponsor.
・Please take preventative measures against theft of bicycles in the event grounds and course.
・Please bring your health insurance card and identification in the case that you need to go to the hospital due to an accident, such as falls.
Bicycle Rules ・Bicycles must be allowed to run on public roads; road bikes, MTB, fitness bikes, and fat bikes.
・Service of brakes should be current.
・Bicycles must be equipped with a light, bell, and reflector.
Regarding the letter for participation A letter from the event meeting will be sent out two weeks prior to the event.
